Spent some time in the Philippines over the holidays with family. It was great and I hope to comeback soon.
Volunteered at the Pan African Festival a couple of weeks ago. Here are some snippets from the day :)
On August 4, 2018 Far-Right groups held a rally in downtown Portland. The following is a visual documentation of the day.
-Shot for Willamette Week.
Had another great opportunity to photograph another great food spot in Portland. Wild North is owned and operated by Brandon & Amelia Hughes. You can find them at Cartlandia on SE 82nd. My favorite was the Chilled Cucumber Gazpacho!
Had a great opportunity to snap some portraits of Raymond Palatino and Fritzi Magbanu as they made their stop in Portland, OR for the "Stop the Killings In The Philippines Caravan Tour".
Fritzi Junance Magbanua is an indigenous educator and administrator at Mindanao Interfaith Services Inc. (MISFI) Academy, amongst the indigenous schools President Duterte has threatened to bomb. Raymond “Mong” Palatino is a two-term congressman who represented Kabataan (Youth) Partylist in the 14th and 15th Congress of the Philippines.
